Telephone Check Calls, proactive calling
We also offer a telephone check call service which involves a daily telephone call at an agreed time to check on your welfare thus supporting you to live independently and safely in your own home.
The service is available for residents in the public or private sector, either in sheltered housing, extra care facilities or in private dwellings. You do not have to be a Telecare service user to receive this service.
The Telephone check call service provides reassurance from as little as 0.70p per day and can be tailored to suit individual need.
How does it work?
You just fill in one form telling us when you would like us to call you to check on your welfare, during the day or in the evening, whether or not you need to be reminded to take any medication and who you would like us to call if you need any assistance, and that’s it. Our operators are on hand to speak to you whenever you want.
