Be Aware of fraudulent Telecare calls and emails
We are aware that telecare service users across the country may be targeted by scammers phoning or emailing elderly and vulnerable people where they are asked for their personal details, bank details or for payment for a new telecare device or service.
Galw Gofal and your local council telecare provider will never contact you by phone or email to ask for your personal details, bank details or for any payment so please never provide these on any call received and never click on any email link asking you to do this. We recommend if you suspect any fraudulent activity that you contact your telecare provider as soon as possible who will then advise you on what to do.
