North Wales Regional Call Monitoring Service

Care Connect was established through a North Wales local authority collaboration project on 1st June 2011 following the merger of three monitoring centres, combining over 25 years of experience in Telecare provision.

The service is run in partnership under a Section 101 Agreement between Anglesey, Conwy and Gwynedd Councils. The service is hosted by Conwy County Borough Council.

The transformation of the call monitoring service in North Wales was enabled through the Welsh Governments’ Invest to Save fund. The Partnership aims to realise a more efficient, effective and sustainable means of service delivery.

Care Connect was officially launched by Lesley Griffiths AM, the Minister for Health and Social Services, on 17th November 2011.
